Hi, my name is Dave. I am a metalwork fabricator.

I grind, assemble and weld steel parts to produce foundations, ladders and platforms for wind turbines. It is very hands-on work.

 

I am good at working as part of a team and focusing on the tasks I am given. At school, I was interested in making things. When I finished school, I started an apprenticeship at a fabrication yard.
