Quaybridge supports 3GW of Round 4 awards

 

Quaybridge was delighted by the announcement of the preferred bidders in the Round 4 leasing process on 8th February by the Crown Estate, having provided the development team for 3GW out of the total award of nearly 8GW. Quaybridge provided a package of cross-disciplinary support including site identification, engineering design, consenting advice, grid assessment and tactical analysis.

Commenting on the outcome, Quaybridge Project Director Colin Morgan said “All of the hard work our team has put in over the last 3 years with our strategic partners has paid off - the Round 4 result is highly gratifying.  It shows what can be achieved when learnings from Rounds 1, 2 and 3 are brought together in a truly integrated approach to offshore wind project development. This next generation of projects is just the start for Quaybridge as we apply our approach to the ScotWind process.”
